Alternatively, while Minimotors is unable to get its scooters IP-certified, all of Vsett’s models are rated IP54, making them highly durable as all-year-round scooters. The Vsett 9+ is one such marvel. The intricate craftsmanship is detailed to the point of perfection. You may be awed by the curving design of the handlebars or the low weight of this dual-motor scooter- there’s plenty to tickle your fancy. The 9+ is quick and can travel long distances- excellent qualities for those looking for an electric scooter for commuters. Vsett Tuning.
The scooter doesn’t weigh tons, like other dual motor, dual suspension, large capacity battery-powered performance scooters. Even better, the scooter is equipped with Vsett’s exclusive three-stem locking system that makes this scooter lightweight enough to take it on public transportation or in the trunk of your car.
VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9 is their slightly bigger single motor scooter than the VSETT 8. It has adjustable suspension as well as collapsible handlebars. Vsett Tuning. It has a larger deck, as well as an upgraded clamp which is comparable to the ones you see with Rion scooters. Rion scooters.
When I saw clamp in the VSETT 9 as well as Rion personally, I liked the clamp on the VSETT 9 plus, 9+ and 10+ more. I think the Rion clamp is very strong, however it just had the Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp on the VSETT scooters was just as robust as the Rion however, it was equipped with two extra security features.
It’s available in a teal and black color which I’m sure my wife would love because she’s a fan of anything teal. It also locks itself when folded. Hooks used to secure it in place after folding can also double as a bag hook once the scooter is unfolded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very like the 9 except that it comes with dual motors instead of just one motor. It’s available in the same colour of the 9. When I first saw the VSETT line, I was thinking I was going to be most impressed by the 10+, but the 9+ is what I was most surprised by.
The VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts and I wasn’t thinking much about it when reviewing it on a spec sheet. However, once I got the chance to test ride the 9+, I was blown away by how fast and zippy the scooter is. I was thinking that the 10+ was about to take off leaving the 9+ behind however, it was capable of keeping up.
I typically prefer high powered scooters however I could easily see me taking the 9+ as a daily driver. It was quick and light. (lightweight for me, but to some it could weigh in at 62lbs.) I was able to bunny hop the 9+, and it’s possible to get tons of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8 VSETT 8 can be described as the entry-level, affordable scooter in the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter designed to travel up to 25 miles per hour and get about 25 miles actual usage. It has an adjustable rear shock as well as a solid rear tire to prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handles as well as a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two batteries variants of this 8 initially. Two variants will include one of the 15.6 amp hour version with Chinese batteries, and the second will be the 21 amp hour version that uses LG batteries. Vsett Tuning.
With the electric braking, rear drum brake and a solid rear tire, it can aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It offers both rear and front swing arm suspension that can be a significant improvement over the small spring suspension included in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty almost identical as VSETT 8 in a lot of ways. It’s similar to VSETT 8 but it has two motors with dual tires. It is designed to climb bigger hills and has a higher speeds, and never have flats like that of the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400w motor beast. It is available in yellow and black and is said to be an upgrade from it’s predecessor, the ZERO 10X. I’ve seen it referred to it as a Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett Tuning.
The VSETT 10+ has hydraulic Nutt brakes which I prefer over the Zoom brakes. It has 10 inch tires, which are just 3 inches long. It comes with a strong clamp that looks similar to that of it’s RION scooters.
It does have the sport mode button, which will only be activated for 2 minutes, and then take a 10 minute break. There have been complaints about this feature, but I think it is an good method to avoid controller harm by overheating.
I like I love the fact that VSETT 10+ locks to itself after folding because the ZERO 10X does not making it difficult to move. The hook that is used to secure the scooter together can also be used to hook up as a hook for a bag or your helmet in the event of a trip to a shop.
It is equipped with an IP44 waterproof resistant rating. Although the scooter is equipped with water-resistant ratings however, none of the distributors guarantee water damage. The 10+ deck is larger than the 10X so it will be much larger.
I was able to see a lot of videos and photos promoting the VSETT 10+ with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the final model, I found they didn’t come with any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping that they’d include EXA Form 290 shocks. EXA Form 290 shocks as they’re more comfortable.
The good thing is that the shocks come in a traditional size, making it easy to find and set up a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Whenever I see VSETT 11+, or any other VSETT 11+ in my view, I immediately imagine Captain America. Some people have voiced their disgust for the color scheme on the VSETT 11+, however I love the look. I could imagine myself getting dressed in an Captain America costume and riding the bike around for Halloween.
Okay, enough about costumes, you likely are here for the specifications. VSETT 11+ VSETT 11+ is the most popular scooter in the VSETT line. It has a gigantic headlight that looks like it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors, but is a 60V battery. I’d like to have made this using a 72V battery but I’m betting they’ll launch another 72V version in the future. It does offer dual stems , which is always a nice feature for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires that measure 4 inches in width. It also has a sport mode , similar to the 10+ which only lasts for 2 minutes , then it shuts off after 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT range.
I would like to see the 11+ came with the upgraded clamp we are seeing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we are using the same clamp used in the ZERO 11X. I’m not sure why they didn’t use the innovative clamp but I’d like to see it on future renditions. Vsett Tuning.
