Vsett Speed Limiter
Vsett scooters came along and revolutionized the electric scooter industry to the forefront with some truly innovative decisions. Vsett Speed Limiter. For example, while GoTrax has had a difficult time equipping their scooters with suspension, even the cheapest Vsett scooters rocks suspension with two springs.
However, while Minimotors does not get its scooters certified IP, all of Vsett’s models are IP54-certified, making them highly reliable as year-round scooters. Don’t forget that every Vsett scooter is equipped with an NFC Immobiliser for the keycard, which indicates how serious the company is about its craft in terms of intelligent scooter design.
Vsett Intelligent Technology Co is just a few months old in the electric scooter world however, they’re an organization that scooter enthusiasts should keep in mind. The Vsett 9+ is one this kind of marvel. The fine craftsmanship is described to the tee. You may be awed by the curvature design of handlebars or the light weight of this dual motor scooter, there’s plenty that will tickle your taste. The 9+ is quick and can travel long distances, which is a great feature for those interested in an electric scooter for commuters. Vsett Speed Limiter.
The scooter doesn’t weigh tons, like other dual motor double suspension, high capacity battery-powered performance scooters. Plus, the scooter comes equipped with Vsett’s proprietary Triple Stem Locking Mechanism that makes this scooter portable enough to carry onto public transportation or in the trunk of your car.
VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter than their VSETT 8. It has adjustable suspension as well as collapsible handlebars. Vsett Speed Limiter. It has a larger deck, and it also comes with an new clamp, which is similar to the clamps you find in those Rion scooters.
When I first saw the clamp in the VSETT 9 as well as Rion on the street, I really prefer the clamps for the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ more. I think the Rion clamp is very strong, however it only had a Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was just as robust as the Rion however it came with two additional safety features.
It comes in a teal and black color which I’m sure my wife would love because she is a sucker for everything teal. It also locks into its own when folded. The hook used to lock it in place after folding is also used as a bag hook once the scooter is unfolded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very like the 9 except that it has dual motors instead of a single motor. It comes in the exact shade of the 9. When I first saw the VSETT line, I thought I would be the most impressed by the 10+, however the 9+ is what impressed me the most.
The VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts, so I didn’t think about it while studying it on a spec sheet. But, when I finally got a chance to ride the 9+ I was completely blown amazed at how quick and zippy the scooter is. I was worried that the 10+ was about to speed off, leaving the 9+ in the dust, but surprisingly it was able to keep up.
I normally gravitate towards the high powered scooters but I could definitely see myself having the 9+ for a regular driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight to me , but to some it would weigh in at 62lbs.) I was able to bunny hop on the 9+ and you’re able to get tons of air even on flat ground.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8 VSETT 8 can be described as the entry-level, cost-effective scooter of the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter made to go up to 25 miles per hour and get about 25 miles actual usage. It comes with an adjustable rear shock as well as a the rear tire is solid to avoid flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handles as well as a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two batteries variants of this 8 first. Two versions will be one of the 15.6 amp-hour version with Chinese batteries and the other version will be the 21 amp hour version with LG batteries. Vsett Speed Limiter.
With the electric braking, rear drum brake and a solid front tire it will aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It has front and rear swing arm suspension that can be an improvement to the smaller spring suspension found in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty much identical with the VSETT 8 but it has dual motors and two solid tires. It’s designed to climb bigger hills, have a higher speeds, and will never have flats as compared to VSETT 8. VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a twin 1400 w motor beast. It comes in yellow and black, and is supposed to be a step up from it’s predecessor, the ZERO 10X. There are some who refer to it as a Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett Speed Limiter.
The VSETT 10+ features hydraulic Nutt brakes that I would prefer over Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires that are three inches in width. It offers the strong clamp that looks similar to the one on RION scooters. RION scooters.
There is a sport mode button that can only activate for 2 minutes and then take an interval of 10 minutes. There have been complaints about this feature, however I believe it’s an good way to prevent controller harm due to overheating.
I like I love the fact that VSETT 10+ folds into itself when folded, since the ZERO 10X isn’t making it hard for portability. The hook that is used to lock the scooter together can also be used to hook into a hook to hang bags or helmets in the event of a trip to a shop.
It is equipped with an IP44 waterproof resistant rating. Although the scooter does have an IP44 rating for water resistance, none of the distributors warrant damages caused by water. The 10+ deck is larger than the 10X, so it should be very large.
I was able to see a lot of photos and videos marketing the VSETT 10+ that comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. After riding the final prototype I discovered that they don’t have any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping that they’d come with the EXA Form 290 shocks because they’re more comfortable.
The good news is that shocks are of a standard size so that it is easy to buy and install a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
When I see VSETT 11+, or any other VSETT 11+, I instantly think of Captain America. A few people have expressed their disgust for the color scheme on the VSETT 11+, however I am a fan of the style. I could imagine myself getting dressed in a Captain America costume and riding the scooter around on Halloween.
Okay, enough about costumes, you likely came for the specs. The VSETT 11+ is the most popular scooter in the VSETT line. It features a massive headlight that looks like it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still a 60V battery. I would like to have created this with a 72V battery but I’m sure they’ll release a 72V version in the near future. It comes with dual stems which is always a nice feature for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires that have a width of 4 inches. It has a sport mode like the 10+ which only lasts 2 minutes and shuts off in 10 mins. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT range.
I’d like to see that the 11+ came with the same clamp that we are seeing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we’re using the same clamp that is used on the Zero 11X. Not sure why they didn’t utilize the unique clamp, however I’d love to see it used on future models. Vsett Speed Limiter.
