It comes with a bigger deck, and it also comes with an new clamp, which is similar to the clamps you find on Rion scooters. Rion scooters.
When I first saw the clamp on the VSETT 9 as well as Rion on the street, I liked the clamp that was on the VSETT 9 9, 9+, and 10+ more. It’s true that the Rion clamp is very strong, however it was just an Velcro strap to secure it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was as sturdy as the Rion but it had two extra safety features.
It comes in a black and teal shade that I’m certain my wife will love since she is a sucker for anything teal. It also locks into its own when folded. Hooks used to secure it in place after folding, doubles up as a bag hook when the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it comes with dual motors instead of a single motor. It’s available in the same shade of the 9. When I first saw the VSETT line, I thought I was going to be most impressed with the 10+. However, the 9+ is what surprised me the most.
The VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter, so I didn’t think much of it when studying the specs sheet. However, once I got the chance to test ride it, I was blown amazed by how swift and smooth the bike is. I thought the 10+ was about to take off leaving the 9+ in the dust however, it was able to keep up.
I normally gravitate towards the high powered scooters but I could see me using the 9+ for a regular driver. It was fast but lightweight. (lightweight to me , but to some it might be heavy at 62 lbs) I was able to bunny hop on the 9+ and you’re able to get plenty of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8 VSETT 8 is the entry-level and affordable scooter in the VSETT line. It’s a single-motor commuter that can go up to 25 miles per hour and get about 25 miles actual usage. It features an adjustable rear shock and solid rear tire to prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handles and locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will carry two batteries variants of this 8 at first. The VSETT 10+ has hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over Zoom brakes. It has 10 inch tires that are 3 inches wide. It has a sturdy clamp that resembles similar to the clamp on it’s RION scooters.
It does have a sport mode button that is only active for two minutes before taking breaks of 10 minutes. I have heard people complain about this feature, however I find it to be a good way to prevent controller harm from overheating.
I love I love the fact that VSETT 10+ folds to itself after folding due to the fact that the ZERO 10X does not making it difficult to move. The hook used to keep the scooter together doubles up as a hook for the bag you carry or your helmet when running into a store.
It has a IP44 waterproof rating. Even though the scooter has an IP44 rating for water resistance however, none of the distributors warranty the damage caused by water. The 10+ deck is bigger than the 10X so it is expected to be very big.
I was able to see a lot of videos and photos promoting VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+ that comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the final model, I found they do not have any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d have EXA Form 290 shocks. EXA Form 290 shocks since they’re more comfortable.
The good thing is that the shocks come in a traditional size so that it is easy to find and install a new.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Every time I look at the VSETT 11+ in my view, I instantly visualize Captain America. A few people have expressed their displeasure with the colors on the VSETT 11+, but I love the look. I imagine getting dressed up in an Captain America costume and riding the bike around for Halloween.
Well you’ve had enough about costumes, chances are you were looking for specs. VSETT 11+ VSETT 11+ is the flagship scooter to the VSETT line. It features a massive headlight that appears like it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still an 60V battery. I do wish they would have created this with an a 72V battery, but I’m betting they’ll launch another 72V version in the near future. It has two stems which is always nice to ensure stability.
The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires that are 4 inches wide. It also has an sport mode similar to the 10+, but it only lasts for two minutes, and then shuts down for 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter in the VSETT range.
I wish the 11+ came with the same clamp that we are experiencing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we’re using the same clamp that is used on the Zero 11X. Not sure why they didn’t use the innovative clamp but I’d like to see it used on future versions. Vsett Accessories.
