It has a larger deck and also has the upgraded clamp that is similar to the clamps you find in the Rion scooters.

When I first saw the clamp in the VSETT 9 and Rion personally, I prefer the clamps on the VSETT 9 9, 9+, and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is very strong, however it was just an Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was equally robust as the Rion but it had two additional security features.

It’s available in a black and teal color which I’m sure my wife will love since she’s a fan of all things teal. It also locks its own when folded. The hook used to lock it into place when folded, doubles up as a bag hook when the scooter is folded.

VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features

The VSETT 9+ is very like the 9 except that it has dual motors instead of just one motor. It comes in the exact colour of the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I thought I would be most impressed by the 10+, but the 9+ is what impressed me the most.

The VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter and I wasn’t thinking about it while reviewing it on a spec sheet. However, once I got an opportunity to test drive the 9+, I was blown amazed at how quick and responsive the motorbike is. I thought the 10+ would be the first to speed off, leaving the 9+ behind but it turned out to be capable of keeping up.

I normally gravitate towards the super-powered scooters but I could definitely see me having the 9+ as a day-to-day driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight for me, but to some it could be heavy at 62 lbs) I was able to bunny hop the 9+ and was able to get tons of fresh air on almost any flat surface.

Vsett 9+ Speed Limiter

VSETT 8 VSETT 8 can be described as the entry-level, budget friendly scooter for the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter that can go up to 25 mph as well as get about 25 miles real usage range. It has an adjustable rear shock and solid rear tire to prevent flats.

The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable bar height, collapsible handlebars and a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will offer two battery versions of the 8 first. With its electric brakes front drum brake, rear drum brake and the solid front tire it will assist in keeping maintenance low. It has the front and rear swing arm suspension which should be a significant improvement over the small spring suspension included in the ZERO 8

The VSETT 8+ is pretty similar with it’s predecessor, the VSETT 8 but it has two motors in addition to two solid tires. It’s built to go up higher slopes, have a higher maximum speed and will never have flats as compared to the VSETT 8.

The VSETT 10+ is a twin 1400 w motor beast. It is available in black and yellow. black, and is supposed to be a step above the ZERO 10X. I’ve seen it referred to it as a Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 9+ Speed Limiter.

The VSETT 10+ has hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over Zoom brakes. It has 10 inch tires that measure three inches in width. It has a sturdy clamp that resembles the one on it’s RION scooters.

There is a sport mode button that is only active for two minutes and then take a 10 minute break. I’ve heard of people complaining about this feature, but I think it is an good way to prevent controller damages by overheating.

I am awestruck by the fact that the VSETT 10+ folds to itself after folding because the ZERO 10X does not making it difficult to move. The hook used to lock the scooter together also doubles as a hanger for bags or helmets in the event of a trip to a shop.

It comes with an IP44 waterproof rating. Although the scooter does have an IP44 rating for water resistance, none of the distributors will warranty the damage caused by water. The 10+ deck is bigger than the 10X so it should be very large.

I was able to see a lot of images and videos promoting the VSETT 10+ that comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. Unfortunately after riding the final prototype I realized that they do not have an EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d come with one of the EXA Form 290 shocks since they’re more comfortable.

The good thing is that the shocks come in a traditional size, making it easy to find and set up a replacement.

Every time I look at VSETT 11+, or any other VSETT 11+ I automatically imagine Captain America. Some people have voiced their displeasure with the color scheme on the VSETT 11+, but I am a fan of the style. I imagine getting dressed up in an Captain America costume and riding the scooter around on Halloween.

Okay, you’ve had enough about costumes, you likely came for the specs. It’s the VSETT 11+ is the most popular scooter in the VSETT line. It features a massive headlight that looks as if it came from a motorbike.

The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still a 60V battery. I’d like to have created this with a 72V battery but I’m betting they’ll launch an equivalent 72V model in the near future. It comes with two stems which can be very helpful for stability.

The 11+ comes with 11-inch tires that have a width of 4 inches. It has a sport mode like the 10+ which only lasts for 2 minutes and shuts off for 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter in the VSETT line.

I would like to see the 11+ came with the same clamp that we are experiencing in the 10+ as well as 9+. Instead, we’re seeing the same type of clamp used in the ZERO 11X. I’m not sure why they didn’t utilize the new clamp, but I would love to see it used on future versions. Vsett 9+ Speed Limiter.
