VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 9 is the VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter compared to the VSETT 8. It offers adjustable suspension and collapsible handlebars. Vsett 9 Plus. It has a larger deck and also has the upgraded clamp that is similar to the ones you see with the Rion scooters.
The clamp I saw on the VSETT 9 as well as Rion personally, I actually preferred the clamp on the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it just had the Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was as strong as the Rion however it came with two extra safety features.
It comes in a black and teal color which I’m sure my wife will like because she loves all things teal. It also locks itself when folded. The hook that holds it into place when folded, doubles up as a bag hook once the scooter is unfolded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it has dual motors instead of one motor. It is available in the same color as the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I thought I was going to be most impressed with the 10+, however the 9+ is what surprised me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter and I wasn’t thinking much of it when reviewing it on a spec sheet. However, once I had a chance to ride the 9+ I was blown away by how fast and zippy the scooter is. I was worried that the 10+ would be the first to take off leaving the 9+ behind, but surprisingly it was able to keep up.
I usually prefer super-powered scooters but I could definitely see myself using the 9+ as a day-to-day driver. It was quick and light. (lightweight to me but to some it might be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned to bunny hop 9+ and was able to get plenty of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is the entry-level, affordable scooter in the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter that can go up to 25 miles per hour in a single motor and get about 25 miles of real usage range. It comes with an adjustable rear shock and the rear tire is solid to avoid flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handles as well as a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will offer two battery versions of the 8 initially. Two versions will be that of 15.6 amp hour model with Chinese batteries, and the second version will include the version with 21 amps with LG batteries. Vsett 9 Plus.
With the electric brake front drum brake, rear drum brake and solid back tire can aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It offers the front and rear swing arm suspension that can make a difference to the smaller spring suspension found that comes with the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty almost identical to it’s predecessor, the VSETT 8 but it has two motors with dual tires. It is built to go up higher slopes as well as have a greater top speed, and will never have flats as compared to VSETT 8. VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a twin 1400 w motor beast. It is available in black and yellow. black, and is believed to be a step up from the ZERO 10X. I have seen people refer to it looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 9 Plus.
The VSETT 10+ has hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over the Zoom brakes. It has 10 inch tires, which are just 3 inches long. It offers the strong clamp that resembles the one on it’s RION scooters.
There is a sport mode button that can only activate for 2 minutes and then take an interval of 10 minutes. I’ve heard of people complaining about this feature but I believe it’s a good option to protect the controller from damage due to overheating.
I love that the VSETT 10+ locks in itself once folded because the ZERO 10X isn’t making it difficult to transport. The hook used to keep the scooter together can also be used to hook up as a hook for a bag or your helmet in the event of a trip to a shop.
It is equipped with an IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Even though the scooter has an IP44 rating for water resistance however, no distributor will warrant the damage caused by water. This deck, 10+ is much larger than the 10X deck, which means it should be very large.
I saw many images and videos promoting the VSETT 10+, which comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the final model, I found they do not have an EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d have one of the EXA Form 290 shocks as they’re more comfortable.
The good thing is that the shocks are of a standard size which makes it easy to find and install a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Every time I look at VSETT 11+, or any other VSETT 11+, I immediately visualize Captain America. Some people have voiced their disgust for the color scheme on the VSETT 11+, but I love the look. I imagine getting dressed up in an Captain America costume and riding the bike around for Halloween.
So, that’s enough about costumes, you likely are here for the specifications. It’s the VSETT 11+ is the flagship scooter to the VSETT line. It comes with a huge headlight that looks as if it came off of motorcyle.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors yet it is an 60V battery. I would like to had come up with a 72V battery but I’m betting they’ll launch a 72V version in the near future. It comes with two stems which can be very helpful to ensure stability.
The 11+ has 11 inch tires that measure 4 inches in width. It comes with a sport mode , similar to the 10+, but it is only for 2 minutes , then it shuts off for 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT line.
I’d like to see that the 11+ had the new clamp that we’re experiencing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we’re seeing the same type of clamp used in the ZERO 11X. Not sure why they didn’t use the unique clamp, but I’d like to see it on future versions. Vsett 9 Plus.
