It is larger than the deck, and it also comes with an upgraded clamp which is comparable to the clamps you find on those Rion scooters.

When I first saw the clamp on the VSETT 9 and Rion in person, I really preferred the clamp on the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it only had an Velcro strap to secure it. The clamp on VSETT scooters was just as robust as the Rion however, it was equipped with two additional security features.

It is available in a teal and black color that I’m sure my wife will love since she is a sucker for everything teal. It also locks into it when folded. Hooks used to secure it in place when folded, doubles up as a bag hook once the scooter is unfolded.

The VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter, so I didn’t think much of it when studying it on a spec sheet. However, once I had the chance to test ride it, I was blown amazed at how quick and responsive the motorbike is. I thought the 10+ would be the first to take off leaving the 9+ in the dust, but surprisingly it was capable of keeping up.

I typically prefer super-powered scooters however I could easily see my self having the 9+ as a day-to-day driver. It was quick and light. (lightweight to me but to some it would weigh in at 62lbs.) I learned how to bunny hop on the 9+, and it’s possible to get plenty of fresh air on almost any flat surface.

It does come with an option for sport mode that is only active for two minutes and then take an interval of 10 minutes. I’ve heard of people complaining about this feature, however I find it to be a good option to protect the controller from damages from overheating.

I am awestruck by the fact it that VSETT 10+ is able to fold to itself after folding because the ZERO 10X does not making it hard for portability. The hook that is used to keep the scooter together doubles into a hook to hang bags or helmets in the event of a trip to a shop.

The good news is that shocks are of a standard size, making it simple to purchase and set up a replacement.

The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still an 60V battery. I would like to have created this with the 72V battery however I’m betting they’ll launch a 72V version in the future. It comes with dual stems which can be very helpful to ensure stability.

The 11+ comes with 11-inch tires that are 4 inches wide. It comes with a sport mode like the 10+, but it only lasts 2 minutes , then it shuts off in 10 mins. It’s the largest scooter in the VSETT line.

I would like to see the 11+ had the upgraded clamp we are experiencing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we are getting the same clamp used in the ZERO 11X. Not sure why they didn’t choose to use the innovative clamp but I would love to see it on future models. Vsett 8 Inner Tube.
