VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter than VSETT 8. VSETT 8. It offers adjustable suspension and the ability to collapse the handlebars. Vsett 10+ User Manual. It is larger than the deck, and it also comes with an upgraded clamp which is comparable to the clamps you find with the Rion scooters.
When I first saw the clamp that was on VSETT 9 as well as Rion personally, I liked the clamp that was on the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ more. It’s true that the Rion clamp is very strong, however it only had a Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was as robust as the Rion however it came with two additional security features.
It is available in a black and teal color which I’m sure my wife will love since she loves everything teal. It also locks itself when folded. Hooks used to secure it into place when folded is also used as a bag hook once the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very like the 9 except that it has dual motors instead of just one motor. It’s available in the same color as the 9. When I first saw the VSETT line, I was thinking I would be most impressed with the 10+. However, the 9+ is what surprised me the most.
The VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter which is why I didn’t think much about it when reviewing it on a spec sheet. But, when I finally got a chance to ride it, I was completely blown away by how fast and responsive the motorbike is. I thought the 10+ would be the first to take off leaving the 9+ in the dust however, it was able to keep up.
I normally gravitate towards the powerful scooters, but I could definitely see myself having the 9+ for a regular driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight to me , but to some it might weigh 62 pounds.) I was able to bunny hop the 9+ and was able to get plenty of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is an entry-level and budget friendly scooter for the VSETT line. It’s a single-motor commuter that can go up to 25 mph and get about 25 miles real usage range. It features an adjustable rear shock and solid rear tire to prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable bar height, collapsible handlebars and a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will offer two battery variants of this 8 initially. The two variants will include the 15.6 amp hour version that uses Chinese batteries. The other will be the 21 amp hour version with LG batteries. Vsett 10+ User Manual.
With the electric braking front drum brake, rear drum brake and the solid back tire will aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It offers both rear and front swing arm suspension that can be an improvement to the smaller spring suspension found included in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty similar as it’s predecessor, the VSETT 8 but it has dual motors and two solid tires. It’s built to go up higher slopes and has a higher top speed, and will never have flats compared to VSETT 8. VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400 w motor beast. It is available in yellow and black, and is supposed to be a step up from the ZERO 10X. I’ve seen it referred to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 10+ User Manual.
The VSETT 10+ features hydraulic Nutt brakes which I prefer over the Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires that measure 3 inches wide. It offers the strong clamp that resembles that of it’s RION scooters.
There is an option for sport mode that can only activate for 2 minutes, and then take an interval of 10 minutes. I’ve heard of people complaining about this feature, but I believe it’s an good option to protect the controller from damages by overheating.
I am awestruck by the fact it that VSETT 10+ folds in itself once folded since the ZERO 10X isn’t making it difficult to transport. The hook used to keep the scooter together doubles up as a hook for bags or helmets in the event of a trip to a shop.
It comes with an IP44 waterproof rating. Even though the scooter has a water resistant rating however, none of the distributors warrant damages caused by water. The 10+ deck is larger than the 10X, so it is expected to be very big.
I saw many images and videos promoting VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+ with EXA Form 290 shocks. Unfortunately after riding the final model, I found they do not have an EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping they would come with EXA Form 290 shocks. EXA Form 290 shocks since they are more comfortable.
The good thing is that the shocks are a traditional size, making it easy to buy and set up a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Whenever I see VSETT 11+, or any other VSETT 11+ in my view, I immediately visualize Captain America. There are some who have expressed their disgust for the colors on the VSETT 11+, but I am a fan of the style. I imagine getting dressed up in a Captain America costume and riding the scooter on Halloween.
Well you’ve had enough about costumes, you probably are here for the specifications. The VSETT 11+ is the flagship scooter to the VSETT line. It has a gigantic headlight that looks like it came off of motorcyle.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still a 60V battery. I’d like to had come up with a 72V battery but I’m sure they’ll release an equivalent 72V model in the near future. It does offer two stems which can be very helpful for stability.
The 11+ has 11 inch tires that measure 4 inches in width. It comes with an sport mode similar to the 10+ that only lasts for two minutes, and then shuts down for 10 minutes. It’s the biggest scooter in the VSETT range.
I’d like to see that the 11+ came with the upgraded clamp we are experiencing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we’re getting the same clamp used in the ZERO 11X. It’s hard to tell why they didn’t utilize the innovative clamp but I’d like to see it in future models. Vsett 10+ User Manual.
